  • JAL Global Club Members can enter airport lounges by presenting their JGC Card and boarding passes.
  • Additional passengers are not allowed to enter the lounge by showing two of above cards held by the same JGC member.
  • A traveling companion is defined to be the passenger boarding on the same flight as that of the member.

oneworld Member Airlines' Lounge Access

When you fly with oneworld member airlines, you can use their lounges located in more than 400 airports worldwide. The member and one traveling companion are allowed to enter the lounge.

  • Please present your oneworld tier status card and boarding pass upon entering the lounge.
  • For details of lounges when flying on oneworld member airlines flights, please ask the airport staff of respective airlines at the time of check-in.
  • Lounge access by presenting oneworld elite status Ruby card is not permitted.

Requesting Lounge Coupons

Please contact the JAL Mileage Bank Center or the JAL Group office in your area of residence. You may also apply through our web site (http://www.jal.com)

  • Online Request
    Go to the JAL's Web site and log in using your membership number and PIN.
    If you have forgotten your PIN, click here.
  • *Members outside Japan cannot use "JAL Mileage Recorder" to redeem mileage for lounge coupons.
  • Two lounge coupons are issued in exchange for 4,000 miles for DIAMOND, JGC PREMIER or SAPPHIRE members and five lounge coupons in exchange for 5,000 miles for CRYSTAL members. Lounge coupons will be sent by mail to member's registered address approximately one or two weeks after application.

<About Lounge Coupons>

  • Validity of lounge coupons is six full months and starts from the first month following the month in which the mileage was exchanged for lounge coupon.
  • To redeem mileage for lounge coupons, you must provide your JMB membership number and PIN number. If you have forgotten your PIN, click here. When requesting your PIN number by mail, please allow approximately one week for your PIN to arrive.
  • Once mileage has been deducted, it cannot be returned to your JMB account, nor can you exchange lounge coupons into other awards. This is regardless if your awards have not been sent or if you have not used them yet.
  • The selling, bartering, or exchanging of lounge coupon is not permitted, and attempt of such action will render lounge coupon void and no mileage will be returned to the member with respect to such cancellation.

  • A member and a traveling companion are not allowed to enter the lounge when they fly on the following flights.
    · Code-share flights operated by JAL and bearing the name of the airlines other than oneworld member airlines
    · Code-share flights operated by the airlines other than oneworld member airlines and bearing JAL flight number. (Exception may apply)
    · Flights other than oneworld member airlines.
  • Due to shortage of airport facilities, airport lounges may be unable to accommodate all eligible passengers.
    Lounges are not available upon your flight arrival.
  • Lounges open in accordance with departure time.

Airport Lounge Restrictions

  • Please be sure to present your "FLY ON Program" membership card and boarding pass for admittance to lounges.
  • Maximum of 4 persons(including the member)are allowed for a single entry to the lounge. Member must accompany the traveling companion when using the lounge.
  • Children of three years and over traveling on domestic flights(two years on international flights) qualify as one companion. Infants under three years are admitted to domestic lounges if accompanied by an eligible adult(under two years old for international lounges) and are not subject to the limitation of three traveling companions.
  • Please present one lounge coupon per person on each the lounge access.
  • In some airports, lounge access shall be requested at the check-in counters.
  • Access to the following lounges is not permitted with lounge coupons offered for DIAMOND/JGC PREMIER benefits or by mileage deduction. First Class Lounge, International airport lounges in Paris, Seoul(Gimpo), Papeete, Tokyo(Haneda international terminal) and "DIAMOND PREMIER LOUNGE" at Haneda airport.
